Infinix reports top spot in Bangladesh smartphone market, citing IDC data
Infinix said it remained Bangladesh's No. 1 smartphone brand throughout 2025 and retained that position in the first and second quarters of 2026, citing market data from International Data Corporation (IDC).
The company attributed its continued position to an expanding product portfolio that caters to different consumer needs and budgets, according to a press release.
Over the past few years, Infinix has introduced smartphones in Bangladesh ranging from affordable everyday devices to models focused on performance and gaming. Its recent line-up includes the NOTE 60 Series, GT 30 Series, HOT 70 Series and SMART 20 Series.
The company said these product lines offered options for students, young professionals, users seeking entertainment features and mobile gamers.
The NOTE 60 Series is positioned as an all-round option for users seeking a combination of performance, display quality, camera capabilities and battery life.
The recently introduced NOTE 60 and NOTE 60 Pro target consumers who use their smartphones for work, entertainment, photography and multitasking. Infinix said the series was designed to meet the everyday needs of young professionals and students.
For gaming enthusiasts, the GT 30 Series focuses on performance, with gaming features, high-refresh-rate displays and technologies designed to support sustained gameplay.
The company said the series targeted users who spend considerable time gaming on their smartphones. The GT 30 Pro, in particular, targets consumers who prioritise gaming performance and responsiveness.
The HOT 70 Series serves the mainstream market, combining design, everyday performance, entertainment features and battery capabilities.
The HOT 70 and HOT 70 Pro 5G offer different options within the series. The Pro 5G adds 5G connectivity and enhanced performance for consumers seeking more advanced features, the company said.
At the more affordable end of the portfolio, the SMART 20 Series caters to students, first-time smartphone users and consumers seeking practical devices for communication, online learning, social media and entertainment.
Infinix said the series focused on essential smartphone functions to provide an accessible option for everyday use.
Together, the product lines address a range of lifestyles, budgets and usage patterns in Bangladesh. The company said it developed devices for different consumer groups and broadened its presence across market segments.
Infinix attributed its reported market position in 2025 and the first and second quarters of 2026 to the relevance of this product strategy in Bangladesh's competitive smartphone market.
The company said the achievement reflected consumer confidence in its combination of technology, affordability and design, and strengthened its brand credibility in Bangladesh.
