SSC, equivalent exam 2026: Here's how you can check results online and via SMS

The results of the Secondary School Certificate (SSC) and equivalent examinations are set to be published at 10am tomorrow (10 August).

The results are available online through the official website of the education boards, all exam centres and institutions, and via SMS, according to a press release from the Inter-Education Board Examination Controllers' Committee.

The announcement applies to the education boards of Dhaka, Rajshahi, Cumilla, Jashore, Chattogram, Barishal, Sylhet, Dinajpur and Mymensingh, as well as the Bangladesh Madrasa Education Board and Bangladesh Technical Education Board.

Students can access their results online by visiting www.educationboardresults.gov.bd and entering the required details.

Results can also be obtained via SMS. To do so, students must type - SSC [space] first three letters of board name [space] roll number [space] year, and then send it to 16140 or 16222.

A return message will provide the student's result.

Madrasa board students will need to type - Dakhil [space] MAD [space] roll number [space] year, and then send it to 16140 or 16222.

For Technical Education Board students, the format is - SSC [space] TEC [space] roll number 2026, and send it to 16140 or 16222.

All exam centres and institutions have been instructed to collect results online. 

This year's Secondary School Certificate (SSC) and equivalent examinations began on 21 April. The written theoretical tests ran through 20 May, followed by practical exams from 7 June to 14 June.

According to the education ministry, a total of 18,57,344 candidates took this year's examinations under the country's 11 education boards. Of them, 9,30,305 were boys, and 9,27,039 were girls. Students from 30,666 educational institutions sat the examinations at 3,885 centres.

Of the total candidates, 14,18,318 were under the general education boards, 3,03,286 under the madrasa board (Dakhil) and 1,34,660 under the technical education board.
