Met office predicts rain in parts of country
The highest temperature yesterday was recorded at 36.3 degrees Celsius in Cox's Bazar, while today's minimum temperature was 22.5 degrees Celsius in Sylhet.
Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) today (6 June) forecasted rain in different parts of the country in the next 24 hours commencing from 9am.
A Met office bulletin issued this morning said, "Light to moderate rain/thunder showers accompanied by temporary gusty/squally wind and lightning flashes is likely to occur at many places over Khulna, Barishal, Chattogram & Sylhet divisions and at a few places over Rangpur, Rajshahi, Dhaka & Mymensingh divisions with moderately heavy to heavy falls at places over the country."
The bulletin also said day and night temperatures may fall slightly over the country.
