Albion to sell Unilever products in Chattogram

The distribution company started its journey with selling the products of the global brand in the Banshkhali and Anwara upazilas

Albion Distribution, a sister concern of Albion Group, will sell products of Unilever Bangladesh Limited in two upazilas of Chattogram.

Through a programme held recently, the distribution company started its journey, with selling the products of the global brand in the Banshkhali and Anwara upazilas.

Earlier in the day, Albion Distribution launched its office and depot at Swapna Bari on Chittagong Urea Fertilizer Limited (CUFL) Road in Anwara upazila of the district, read a press release.

Anwara upazila Nirbahi Officer Sheikh Zobayer Ahmed, Upazila Chairman Touhidul Haque Chowdhury, Albion Group Chairman Raisul Uddin Saikat, Unilever Bangladesh regional manager Mohammad Mahmood Hasan, area manager Tahsin Mahmood and territory manager Riaz Hossain were in attendance.

Albion Group Chairman Raisul Uddin Saikat said, "Initially, we have started our journey with selling the products of Unilever Bangladesh in the two upazilas of Chattogram. The range of its activities will be increased gradually." 

Albion Group, a renowned and successful industrial Group in the pharmaceutical sector, has achieved ISO certification in 2001 and 2008 for the quality of its medicines.

Unilever is one of the oldest multinational companies and its products are available in around 190 countries.

Its products include: food, sweets, energy drinks, baby food, soft drinks, tea, cleaning agents, beauty products, personal care items, breakfast cereals, medicine, and pharmaceutical healthcare products.
