Man kills wife, daughter, before taking own life in Naogaon: Police
Police are investigating the matter and preparing to file a case.
A man allegedly stabbed his wife and 2-year-old daughter to death before taking his own life in Atrai upazila of Naogaon early today (6 March), police said.
The incident took place around 12:30am at their home in Balramchak Chowdhurypara village, according to Abdul Karim, officer-in-charge of Atrai Police Station.
The deceased have been identified as Raj Sarker Joy, 27, his wife Brishti Sarker, 22, and their daughter Jini Sarker.

Locals claimed that Joy, reportedly addicted to drugs, attacked his wife and daughter after dinner, killing Brishti on the spot.
Joy and his daughter were found critically injured by family members and neighbours and rushed to Atrai Upazila Health Complex. As their condition worsened, they were referred to Rajshahi Medical College Hospital, where both were pronounced dead during treatment early yesterday morning.
Police recovered Brishti's body from the house later that night. "Preliminary findings indicate the tragedy may have been triggered by family disputes and Joy's drug addiction," said OC Abdul Karim. Investigations are ongoing, and authorities are preparing to file a case.
