BNP wins four of five Narayanganj seats; NCP takes one

BNP candidates have unofficially won four of Narayanganj's five parliamentary constituencies, while a candidate backed by the 11-party alliance from the NCP secured victory in one seat.

In Narayanganj-1 (Rupganj), BNP's Mostafizur Rahman Bhuiyan (Dipu) won unofficially with 156,358 votes, defeating Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami's Anwar Hossain Molla, who secured 91,690 votes.
In Narayanganj-2 (Araihazar), BNP's Nazrul Islam Azad won the seat with 125,063, defeating Jamaat-e-Islami's Ilias Molla, who received 82,987 votes. In Narayanganj-3 (Sonargaon-Siddhirganj), BNP's Azharul Islam Mannan secured 1,55,400 votes to win unofficially, defeating Jamaat-e-Islami's Iqbal Hossain Bhuiya, who secured 1,34,918 votes.
In Narayanganj-4 (Fatullah-part of Sadar), National Citizens Party's Abdullah Al Amin won unofficially with 106,171 votes, defeating Monir Hossain Kasemi of a BNP-led ally, who secured 80,619 votes. A joint member secretary of the party's central committee.
In Narayanganj-5 (part of Sadar-Bandar), BNP's Abul Kalam won unofficially with 114,799 votes, narrowly defeating Khelafat Majlish's ABM Sirajul Mamun, who secured 110,196 votes. A three-time former MP from the constituency, he returns to parliament for a fourth term.
