Bangladesh Khelafat Majlis has unveiled its 22-point election manifesto ahead of the upcoming national polls, pledging to prioritise six fundamental areas in governing the country over the next five years if voted into power.
The manifesto was presented today (6 February) at a press conference held at the party's central office in Purana Paltan in the capital, with the details being announced by the party's ameer, Maulana Mamunul Haque.
The document, structured in five chapters, contains a total of 22 points and has been described by the party as a roadmap for establishing an "equity-based state".
In the manifesto, the party identified six key priorities for state governance: balanced development and the fundamental rights of citizens; good governance and a corruption-free state system; a strong defence structure and national security; an independent, dignified, and interest-based foreign policy; a universal, unified, and moral education system; and commitments to employment generation and opportunities for youth.
The party said the entire manifesto has been organised into five sections outlining its broader policy direction and governance plans.
