IFIC Bank holds annual business conference 2026
IFIC Bank PLC held its Annual Business Conference 2026 on Saturday, 10 January, 2026 at the multipurpose hall of IFIC Tower.
Chairman of the bank's board of directors Md Mehmood Husain attended the conference as the chief guest, while Managing Director of IFIC Bank Sayed Mansur Mustafa presided over the event. The conference focused on reviewing the bank's performance over the past year and setting strategic business objectives for the year ahead.
Members of the board of directors present at the conference included Md Ebtadul Islam, Kazi Md Mahboob Kasem FCA, Md Golam Mostofa and Md Monzorul Haque. Deputy managing directors, heads of divisions and branch managers from across the country also attended the day-long programme.
In his address, Md Mehmood Husain said building a strong, transparent and customer-centric banking system to address the country's economic challenges remains IFIC Bank's foremost priority. He said the bank is committed to ensuring sustainable growth through sound governance, effective risk management, technology-driven banking and strategic transformation of its business model. He added that the board of directors stands fully committed to supporting the management in achieving these goals.
During the event, the directors shared insights and strategic guidance on key issues, including corporate governance, the prevailing business environment, the regulatory framework, non-performing loan management and the bank's future strategic direction.
The bank's chief financial officer presented a detailed overview of IFIC Bank's business performance in 2025, highlighting key financial indicators and achievements.
In recognition of outstanding performance in deposit mobilisation, loan disbursement and recovery, and operating profitability, 24 branches were honoured with special awards in different categories.
The conference concluded with an interactive question-and-answer session, where branch managers shared practical experiences and insights, contributing to the overall effectiveness of the programme.
