Zubaida visits mother's home after seeing mother-in-law Khaleda
After visiting ailing BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia at the Evercare Hospital, her daughter-in-law Zubaida Rahman went to her family home, Mahbub Bhaban, in Dhanmondi.
She arrived at her mother's house in Dhanmondi at around 3:45pm today (5 December), said BNP Media Cell member Atikur Rahman Ruman.
"She came straight from London and was at Khaleda Zia's bedside at the hospital. She also met doctors to discuss Madam's latest health condition," he said.
Later, Zubaida went to her father's house in Dhanmondi, where her mother Syeda Iqbal Mand Banu lives.
He said Zubaida will return to the hospital again in the evening to stay beside Khaleda.
Zubaida, wife of BNP acting chairman Tarique Rahman and a member of Khaleda Zia's medical board, landed at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport at 10:43am.
She proceeded directly to Evercare Hospital to assess her mother-in-law's health and her entourage reached the hospital's gates at 11:52am.
By today, she was expected to have accompanied Khaleda back to London for advanced medical treatment.
But the arrival of a royal air ambulance sent by the Qatari emir was delayed. Hence, Khaleda Zia may now leave for London on Sunday (7 December).
