This all started after Sushant's father KK Singh filed a complaint against Rhea Chakraborty and her family members. The complaint accused them of abetment to suicide, restraint, theft, and cheating, reported Times of India.
The complaint sent the media into a frenzy; Rhea even received death threats as the investigation carried on. And new revelations about her, buying illegal drugs has weakened her stance that she was not involved in the case.

However, it has been reported that Sushant's family knew of his mental state and their relationship with the late actor was strained.
As reported by Times Now, Rhea Chakraborty is expected to take legal action against Sushant's family after they allegedly made false statements about her and her family.
It's yet to see what more the CBI probe will reveal in the Sushant Singh Rajput case. Recently, it uncovered shocking evidence that Rhea Chakraborty bought illegal drugs, that might have been consumed by Sushant.
