Nasum added to ODI Squad for Windies series

Left-arm spinner Nasum Ahmed has been added to the Bangladesh ODI squad for the ongoing series against the West Indies.

Other spinners, including captain Mehidy Hasan Miraz and Tanvir Islam, also caused problems for the West Indies batters on a typically sluggish Mirpur pitch.
The 30-year-old Nasum, who has taken 16 wickets in 18 ODIs at an economy rate of 4.48, last featured in a one-day international in December 2024.
The second and third ODIs are scheduled for 21 and 23 October respectively, both at the same venue.
