Premier University vc attends ypsa–cuds debate closing ceremony
The Chittagong University Debating Society (CUDS) is the central debating organisation of the University of Chittagong. It hosted the "YPSA–CUDS Divisionals 2025" with support from Young Power in Social Action (YPSA).
Noakhali Science and Technology University emerged as the Champion, while Feni University secured the Runner-up position. The two-day final round was held on September 12–13 at the office of Daily Azadi in Chattogram.
Eighteen university debate clubs from across the division fiercely competed, showcasing their oratory skills in the dynamic tab format of the Bangla Parliamentary style. The adjudication panel comprised 18 top national adjudicators and 10 invited judges, while young debaters from across the country gained valuable hands-on evaluation experience in an electrifying atmosphere.

Jahin Al Jamil, Labib Rahman, Adil Raihan, and Tawsif Ahmed were named 'Debaters of the Tournament' for their outstanding performances.
Professor S M Nasrul Kadir, Vice-Chancellor of Premier University, attended as the Chief Guest at the closing ceremony. CUDS advisors and moderators joined as Special Guests.
Afifa Nowrin Samiha, CUDS Campus Affairs Secretary, convened the event. Joint conveners were Wasif Ar Rahman (Finance Secretary), Ratul Sheikh (Joint Secretary), and Sifatur Rahman (Office and Logistics Secretary). Vice-President Aheli Azman and Afifa Nowrin Samiha conducted the proceedings.
YPSA was the title sponsor of the tournament. Kurmure provided snacks. Star Ship Mango was the beverage partner. Nestlé supplied refreshments.
