Government Collapse in South Asia: Opportunity or Crisis?
From Sri Lanka to Bangladesh to Nepal; Recently, the winds of political upheaval have started blowing in the countries of South Asia. In the last four years, governments in this region have fallen in three countries in the face of mass movements. West Bengal, India has also seen major movements. Protests have also taken place in Indonesia, Thailand, and Myanmar. The question is, is this political upheaval... creating possibilities in the countries; showing a ray of hope; or is the crisis deepening? I will try to find the answer in the light of an NDTV report.
