Mob blocked leaders from collecting nomination forms: Chhatra Dal
The Dhaka University (DU) unit of Jatiyatabadi Chhatra Dal (JCD) today alleged that a mob obstructed its leaders of Fazilatunnesa Mujib Hall from collecting nomination papers for the election.
At an emergency press briefing at Madhur Canteen, DU Chhatra Dal President Ganesh Chandra Roy Sahos said, security officials were present at that time but they could not control the situation, compelling the students to leave the hall.
"DU authorities failed to create a level playing field for the election," complained DU JCD General Secretary Nahiduzzaman Shipon.
