Islami Bank observes July mass uprising anniversary
Islami Bank Officer Kollyan Samity (IBOKS) organised the July Mass Uprising Anniversary and Dua Program on 11 August 2025 at Islami Bank Tower. The event commemorated the sacrifice of martyrs and prayed for the recovery of the injured during the July-August 2024 mass uprising.
Md. Omar Faruk Khan, Managing Director of Islami Bank, addressed the gathering as the chief guest. The program was presided over by A.K.M. Mahbub Morshed, President of IBOKS, while Mohammad Jamal Uddin Mazumder, Additional Managing Director, spoke as a special guest. Abul Laise Mohd. Khaled, Vice President of IBOKS, delivered the welcome speech.
Muhammad Solaiman, Senior Executive Vice President, led the dua and munajat, seeking forgiveness for the martyrs and healing for those affected. The program was attended by Deputy Managing Directors Mahmudur Rahman, Md. Rafiqul Islam, Muhammad Sayeed Ullah, K.M. Munirul Alam Al-Mamoon, Dr. M. Kamaluddin Jasim, and Md. Maksudur Rahman, along with senior executives and officials from the bank's head office.
