Biman domestic flight returns to Dhaka mid-air over technical glitch
Sources said the pilot decided to turn back after the cabin temperature rose sharply following take-off

A domestic flight of Biman Bangladesh Airlines was forced to return to Dhaka shortly after take-off on Monday due to a mechanical fault.
Speaking to The Business Standard, General Manager of Biman's Public Relations Department ABM Raushan Kabir confirmed that the flight returned to Dhaka due to a technical issue.
Arrangements were being made to send the passengers on a later flight, he added.
According to airline sources, the Dhaka-Chattogram flight BG 615, operated with a Dash-8 aircraft (registration S2-AKI), departed from Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport at 2:34pm and returned at 2:55pm, around 20 minutes into the journey.
Sources said the pilot decided to turn back after the cabin temperature rose sharply following take-off.
The incident occurred on the flight scheduled to depart for Chattogram at 1:55pm.
