Businessman hacked to death in Brahmanbaria
A 45-year-old businessman was hacked to death by unknown assailants in Sarail upazila of Brahmanbaria last night (29 July).
The deceased is Mostafa Kamal, from Kalikaccha union of Sarail, confirmed Sarail Police Station OC Morshedul Alam Chowdhury.
Mostafa ran a mobile recharge and mobile banking shop in the local market.

According to locals and the deceased's family, a group of unknown miscreants stabbed Mostafa with sharp weapons near his residence when he was returning home from the market around 11:30pm.
He was taken to the hospital with critical injuries and pronounced dead by physicians.
OC Morshedul said they have launched an investigation to ascertain the motive behind the killing.
The victim's body has been sent to Brahmanbaria General Hospital morgue for an autopsy.
Preparations are ongoing to file a case over the incident, added the OC.
