Bank Asia signs MoU with National Pension Authority

Bank Asia PLC has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the National Pension Authority (NPA) to bolster the implementation of the Universal Pension Scheme—an important stride towards ensuring financial security for citizens from all walks of life.

The MoU signing ceremony took place on 14 July 2025 at the Finance Division conference room, graced by Dr. Md. Khairuzzaman Mozumder, Secretary of the Finance Division, as the Chief Guest. The event was presided over by Mr. Md. Mohiuddin Khan, Executive Chairman of the National Pension Authority.

Mr. Sohail R K Hussain, Managing Director of Bank Asia, signed the agreement and reaffirmed the bank's dedication to inclusive, technology-driven banking that aligns with the nation's long-term development goals. Through this partnership, Bank Asia will facilitate seamless registration, efficient contribution collection, and real-time digital integration for pension subscribers, paving the way for a more accessible and transparent pension system.
