LafargeHolcim wins big at SDG Brand Champion Awards 2025
LafargeHolcim Bangladesh PLC (LHB) has been recognised for its leadership in sustainable business practices at the SDG Brand Champion Awards 2025, organised by the Bangladesh Brand Forum.
At the award ceremony held on July 12, the company won the title of 'Best Building Materials Company of the Year' and received an Honourable Mention in the Clean and Alternative Fuel category.
The accolades highlight LHB's continued efforts to align its operations with the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), with a focus on sustainable construction and innovations in the circular economy.

Mohammad Mahfuzul Hoque, Commercial and Logistics Director, and Farjana Ehsan, Deputy General Manager, Strategy and Business Development, received the 'Best Building Materials Company' award on behalf of the company.
Meanwhile, A K M Atiqur Rahaman, Human Resources Director, and Tamrin Chowdhury, Deputy Manager, Geocycle, accepted the honourable mention for LHB's work in clean and alternative fuels.
This marks another milestone for LafargeHolcim Bangladesh, which was recognised in two categories in 2023 and one in 2024, reaffirming its position as a frontrunner in sustainability within the building materials sector.
