Krishi Bank remittance inflow crosses $4bn in FY26
Bangladesh Krishi Bank (BKB) received $4.10 billion in remittances during fiscal year 2025–26, nearly double the amount collected in the preceding fiscal year.
The bank collected $4.10 billion, equivalent to Tk50,249 crore, during the fiscal year, becoming the country's second-largest remittance-collecting bank.
BKB also received $441.68 million in remittances in June 2026, securing the highest position among the country's banks for the month.
The state-owned bank's remittance collection has increased steadily over recent years. It received $371.83 million in FY22 and ranked 17th among banks operating in the country.
Its remittance inflow rose to $522.24 million in FY23 and $718.48 million in FY24, when it ranked 10th.
In FY25, BKB collected $2.11 billion and climbed to fourth place nationally. The amount increased to $4.10 billion in FY26, taking the bank to second place.
The bank also collected a record $3.13 billion in remittances during the 2025 calendar year.
