Al-Arafah Islami Bank honours winners of Eid-ul-Azha Remittance Campaign 2025

Al-Arafah Islami Bank PLC hosted a prize-giving ceremony on Wednesday, 2 July 2025, at its head office in Dhaka to honour the winners of its Eid-ul-Azha Remittance Campaign 2025. The campaign aimed to encourage remittance inflows through legal channels and recognise the contributions of expatriate clients.

Mohd. Rafat Ullah Khan, Managing Director (Current Charge) of the bank, attended the event as the chief guest and presented awards to three clients and three bank officials.

In his address, Mohd. Rafat Ullah Khan said, "Al-Arafah Islami Bank has always placed high importance on the contributions of expatriates to the national economy. Our expatriate brothers and sisters are the driving force behind our economy. Their remittances not only strengthen our foreign currency reserves but also play a significant role in the overall development of the country. We believe that such initiatives will further encourage expatriates to send remittance through official channels."
