BUET hosts Club Fest 2025

Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET) organised "Club Fest 2025" with great enthusiasm and festivity. The two-day event, held on 1–2 July at the university's central cafeteria premises, was arranged by the Directorate of Students' Welfare and remained open from 10am to 5pm each day.

Professor Dr Abu Bohan Mohammad Badruddoza, Vice-Chancellor of BUET, inaugurated the festival. Also present were Pro-Vice Chancellor Professor Dr Abdul Hasib Chowdhury and Director of the Directorate of Students' Welfare Professor Dr A K M Masud.

On the opening day, the Vice-Chancellor visited each of the 33 participating club stalls and interacted with club representatives. He said, "BUET students are not only academically accomplished but are also excelling in co-curricular fields. Such events play a vital role in developing leadership, creativity, and humanitarian values."

Throughout the fest, clubs showcased their academic, technical, social, and cultural activities. Students engaged visitors with art exhibitions, interactive games, awareness campaigns, and membership drives to encourage broader participation in student initiatives.

The lively presence of students, the energy of club members, and the interest of visitors made the event memorable. Organisers noted that Club Fest continues to grow each year, enriching BUET's co-curricular culture.
