Dabir-Sohani-Suraiya Foundation empowers DU students with scholarships
The Dabir-Sohani-Suraiya Foundation awarded scholarships to meritorious and financially challenged students of the Faculty of Business Studies, DU, on May 24, 2025, at Professor Dr Abdullah Farouk Multipurpose Hall.
The Dean of the Business Studies Faculty of Dhaka University, Professor Dr Mahmood Osman Imam, and Chowdhury Mohammed Hanif Shoeb, President of the Foundation and Managing Director of Salma Group (a prominent business in textile and housing), handed over the Scholarships to the recipients.
Mr Arfan Ali, former President and Managing Director of Bank Asia Limited and Vice President of Dabir-Sohani-Suraiya Foundation, and the Business Studies Faculty members were present, among others.
