Toffee unveils revamped app with new features

Toffee has launched a fully revamped version of its app, offering users a more exciting, intuitive, and immersive experience across Android, iOS, Web, and Android TV.

The new platform features a refreshed design and upgraded functionalities that make discovering and enjoying content more intuitive, seamless, and personalised than ever before. With a redesigned user interface, users are welcomed into a cleaner, more visually engaging environment that's easier to navigate across all devices, geared towards showcasing content for better discoverability. The smarter search options and refined content organisation help viewers quickly find their favourite shows, movies, and live streams, reducing browsing time and enhancing overall satisfaction. A whole new navigation system has been introduced, along with a new "Discover" section that includes a customised search option, making exploring content easier than ever. The payment journey has also been refined, making subscription simple and more convenient.

The enhanced content management system allows for quicker updates, ensuring users have faster access to the latest content releases. Viewers can also enjoy a more immersive experience with features like subtitles, multiple audio tracks, and content warnings, enabling greater accessibility and personalisation. In addition, smoother performance, improved streaming quality, and optimised ad placement reduce interruptions and keep the viewing experience enjoyable from start to finish. The newly introduced "My List" feature lets users create their own custom playlists, while the cross-platform "Continue Watching" feature ensures users can pick up right where they left off, whether on their phone, TV, or web browser, offering true convenience and continuity across all screens.

Golam Kibria, Chief Digital Officer (CDO) of Banglalink, stated, "With an optimum viewing experience and viewer preferences in mind, we have taken Toffee to a whole new level. As part of this commitment, Toffee has been completely revamped for a smooth, intuitive, and uninterrupted experience, along with more convenient options. Our signature live sports streaming has become smoother, while access to both local and international content is now more convenient than ever before with multi-device compatibility. With this transformation, Toffee continues to position itself not just as an app, but as a comprehensive digital entertainment destination built around the evolving needs of its audience."

This upgrade also brings a significant expansion in content, designed to deliver a more satisfying and personalised viewing experience for users. Toffee now offers over 4,000 hours of on-demand entertainment, featuring an extensive mix of Hollywood blockbusters, Bollywood hits, critically acclaimed series, and exclusive regional titles. Whether viewers are looking for globally popular shows or culturally relevant content in their own language, Toffee caters to diverse tastes and preferences. Recent additions such as the Bangla-dubbed K-drama Descendants of the Sun and the exclusive Pakistani drama Family Bizniss bring even more variety to the platform, enriching the content offering and ensuring that every viewer can find something they love. With improved discovery tools and tailored recommendations, the expanded library makes content exploration both easier and more enjoyable than ever before.

The reimagined Toffee experience is now available to all users, offering a dynamic blend of technology, content, and convenience, reaffirming its place as Bangladesh's go-to platform for digital entertainment.
