Dhaka North adjusts mosquito control schedule due to heatwave
The Dhaka North City Corporation has revised working hours for its mosquito control teams in response to a heatwave alert issued by the Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD).
From 11 to 13 May, the morning shift will end at 10:45am, one hour earlier than usual, to safeguard workers from the expected extreme temperatures.
A new summer schedule will be introduced starting 14 May.
