The directive was issued today (17 November) through a notice released by the city corporation.
The Dhaka North City Corporation has given individuals and institutions a one-week deadline to remove all illegally installed banners, festoons, posters, advertising nameplates, signboards, LED boards, and billboards within its jurisdiction.
The directive was issued today (17 November) through a notice released by the city corporation.
According to the notice, Dhaka North has observed widespread installation of such materials across buildings, rooftops, walls, and various public spaces without approval from the proper authorities.
The city corporation stated that all persons or organisations responsible for installing these illegal structures must remove them on their own within the next seven days.
The notice also warned that failure to comply within the stipulated time will result in eviction drives, fines, and other legal actions against the responsible individuals or organisations.
