The Police Headquarters today called upon all not to give money to anyone for getting appointed as police constables.

"Don't get involved in financial transactions with anyone to get appointed as a police constable. If anyone tries to cheat you, report it to the nearest police station or the office of the superintendent of police," said the Bangladesh Police in a statement.

It also said that candidates are being selected for the post of Trainee Recruit Constable in Bangladesh Police based on merit and qualification in a transparent recruitment process.
