Banglalink introduces Hajj roaming packs in Bangladeshi Taka

Banglalink, the country's innovative digital operator, has introduced special Hajj Roaming offers, allowing Bangladeshi Hajj pilgrims to enjoy international roaming services in Saudi Arabia using their Bangladeshi Taka balance, eliminating the need for foreign currency or credit cards.

In harmony with the sacred journey of Hajj, Banglalink has unveiled a range of dedicated Hajj Roaming Packs, designed to deliver maximum convenience and value to the pilgrims. Customers may activate these packs directly through the MyBL app under the Hajj Roaming section or by recharging their mobile balance, ensuring seamless and hassle-free connectivity from the moment they set foot in Saudi Arabia.

Through partnerships with leading Saudi Arabian networks—STC, Zain, and Etisalat—Banglalink's Hajj Roaming Packs offer pilgrims expansive coverage and steadfast reliability.

Speaking on this noble initiative, Mehedi Al Amin, Marketing Operations Director of Banglalink, remarked, "Hajj is one of the most profound and sacred experiences of a lifetime. We deeply understand how essential it is for pilgrims to remain connected with their loved ones during this spiritual journey. By enabling roaming payments in Bangladeshi Taka and offering affordable, easily accessible packages, we are reaffirming our commitment to addressing the real needs of our customers and enriching their lives through meaningful innovations."

Pilgrims are advised to purchase their preferred roaming pack prior to departure to ensure uninterrupted service upon arrival in Saudi Arabia. Once activated, roaming services will commence immediately, with STC, Etisalat, and Zain recommended for the best experience.

Customers may select from the following packages:

  • 3GB internet with 15 minutes of talk time for 7 days at BDT 594

  • 8GB internet with 15 minutes of talk time for 15 days at BDT 994

  • 15GB internet with 30 minutes of talk time for 30 days at BDT 1,994

  • 25GB internet with 50 minutes of talk time for 45 days at BDT 2,494

  • 50GB internet with 300 minutes of talk time for 60 days at BDT 6,494

Thus, through this timely and thoughtful endeavour, Banglalink once again proves its devotion to innovation rooted in tradition, supporting the pilgrim's journey with the light of modern connectivity, while honouring the sacredness of their path.
