BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir today (23 April) called upon all to remain united to restore the democratic rights of the people of the country thwarting all conspiracies.

He said this at a views-exchange meeting at the BNP Chairperson's political office in Gulshan.

A 20-member delegation of former and current pro-Chhatra Dal doctors of Rangpur Medical College (RMC) Hospital participated in the meeting.

At the time, the BNP Secretary General wished the party Chairperson Begum Khaleda Zia a speedy recovery and acting Chairman Tarique Rahman a long life.

The BNP Secretary General said all concerned should play an active role in making DAB stronger, more disciplined and more beneficial to the public in all medical colleges and hospitals of the country.

Professor Dr Khandaker Ziaul Islam Zia, Professor Dr Mahamudul Haque Sarkar, Professor Dr Sariful Islam Mondal, Dr Tozammel Haque Bakul, Dr Ziaul Haque, Dr Abu Md Ahsan Firoz, Dr Ashraful Islam and Dr Mizanur Rahman Shamim were present, among others.
