The government has formed a taskforce to monitor the progress of coronavirus prevention activities and operations related to medical activities.

The nine-member team will monitor the progress of implementation of circulars, gazette notifications, orders and directives issued by the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) to contain Covid-19 and to ensure treatment for the affected patients in public and private hospitals.

The taskforce will also monitor the Covid-19 committees formed by the DGHS.
