Finn Wolfhard teases emotional ending to 'Stranger Things'

After nearly a decade on 'Stranger Things', Finn Wolfhard is saying goodbye to Mike Wheeler—and it's hitting hard.
The 22-year-old actor, who joined the show at age 13, told People that filming the series finale was surreal and emotional. "I was satisfied, but also confused and sad but also very happy," shared the actor. "[It] was definitely a lot. I felt like I was in a dream or something. None of it felt real. I don't know, it felt perfect."
Wolfhard admitted the ending didn't feel real until the next day, calling it "an emotional hangover." Still, he praised the experience and his co-stars.
Co-creators Matt and Ross Duffer recently revealed the fifth and final season took a full year to shoot, boasting over 650 hours of footage—promising fans the biggest and most cinematic season yet. Season five is expected to be released later this year during the fall.
