Bangladeshi human rights defender gets honorary MBE from the UK
The UK has awarded Ms Shaheen Anam, the Executive Director of the Manusher Jonno Foundation (MJF), an honorary MBE (Member of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire).
The honorary awards, given to individuals worldwide every year, recognise those who have contributed to the UK's work overseas.
The UK has partnered with MJF for over twenty years to promote social justice, inclusion, and gender equality in Bangladesh.
