ULAB sets new organisting committee for Hult Prize 2024-2025 season

The University of Liberal Arts Bangladesh (ULAB) is proud to announce the formation of the OnCampus organising committee for the prestigious Mektronics Group Presents Hult Prize at ULAB 2024/2025, co-sponsored by OMERA LPG and Jitben, and powered by Begum Catering. As one of the largest student entrepreneurship and social business idea competitions, the event is set to inspire innovation and entrepreneurial spirit among ULAB's brightest minds.
A dedicated team of 30 talented and enthusiastic members has been selected to ensure the smooth execution of the event, which will be hosted on the ULAB campus. The organising committee, recently unveiled on the official ULAB social media platforms, will be led by Rahat Mahmud, a student from the School of Business (USB), who will serve as the Campus Director. Alongside him, Salman Al Farsy, a Department of English and Humanities (DEH) student, will assume the role of Deputy Director. Together, they will guide a team of individuals divided into nine specialised areas, each handling different aspects of the event. Jubayeda Jahan Sajlin, who will serve as the Liaison Manager, will assist them in coordinating the event.
The heads of the specialised teams include Md. Mahmudul Hasan for the Sponsorship Coordination and Finance Team, Mirza Didarul Islam for the Startup Coordination Team, Joye Florence Rozario for the Judges and Facilitator Team, Md. Ashiqullah Alvi for the Event Management Team, Adnan Chowdhury for the Branding and Social Media Team, Ayesha Maria for the Graphics Team, Mariam Mardia for the Press Release and Content Writing Team, Anika Yasmin Papri for the Hospitality Team, and Shad Hasin Raihan for the Logistics Team.
The deputy Heads, Md Shams Arefin, Nusrat Jannat Tithy, Ahnaf Mahmood Niloy, Md Najmul Islam, A.H.M. Munaimul Azam, Md. Rahat Talukder, Md. Hasib, Mirza Samia Tasnim Beg, and G M M Nazirul Alam will support them in various roles to ensure the event's seamless execution.
Additionally, a dedicated team of Event Officers will be crucial in coordinating the event. The Event Officers include Raisa Sadia, Tasnina Prodhan Sonia, Noor-E-Jannat, and Md. Shahriar Rahman, Rifad Al Mueid, Nishat Anjum Anika, Fiza Rouf, Mezbah Uddin Sazin, Ayesha Siddika, and Mst Afrin Jahan.
The team is already hard at work promoting this year's Hult Prize challenge, "UNLIMITED!" across the campus. Their collective efforts aim to deliver a remarkable OnCampus program, inspiring the next generation of leaders and innovators to think beyond the conventional and explore the unlimited possibilities in entrepreneurship and social business.
