BNICL marks 30 years to strengthen customer-focused insurance services
Bangladesh National Insurance Company Limited (BNICL) marked its 30th anniversary on Monday, underscoring its strategic focus on customer service and sustainable growth within Bangladesh's insurance industry.
Commemorative events took place at the BNICL head office and branch offices nationwide, engaging staff and stakeholders in the milestone celebration.
Director Taif Bin Yousuf attended as chief guest, joined by departmental heads, officers and employees from across the organisation.

The event was presided over by Chief Executive Officer Md Sana Ullah.
In his remarks, Taif Bin Yousuf said BNICL has fostered customer trust and confidence over three decades through professionalism, transparency and reliable service.
He reiterated the company's dedication to a customer-centric approach and its contribution to the sustainable expansion of Bangladesh's insurance sector.
"Thirty years is not only a milestone for BNICL but also a testament to the trust our valued customers have placed in us. We remain committed to delivering innovative, reliable and customer-focused insurance solutions in the years ahead," he said.
Chief Executive Officer Md Sana Ullah affirmed that BNICL continues to deliver quality services in full compliance with government regulations, with a commitment to maintaining these standards going forward.
BNICL was incorporated as a public limited company in May 1996 and commenced operations on 1 June 1996.
Since then, the company has provided a comprehensive range of non-life insurance services—spanning fire, motor, marine, engineering, industrial all-risk and contractor's all-risk insurance—through approximately 36 branches nationwide.
Over the years, BNICL has established itself among the country's leading non-life insurance providers.
Listed on both the Dhaka and Chattogram stock exchanges, the company currently holds a AAA long-term credit rating, reflecting its robust financial position and claims-paying capability.
