ILFSL conducts training on AML and CFT regulations

Money laundering and countering financing terrorism are critical areas overseen by the Bangladesh Financial Intelligence Unit (BFIU), a central unit of the Bangladesh Bank.

Recently, a training session on Anti-money Laundering (AML), Countering Financing of Terrorism (CFT) laws, and regulations was held at the head office of International Leasing and Financial Services Limited (ILFSL) under the supervision of BFIU. Relevant officials of the organisation attended the training.

The organisation's Managing Director, Kazi Alamgir, inaugurated the training as the Chief Guest and delivered the welcome speech. The training program, led by Mohammad Anwar Parvez, Joint Director of Bangladesh Bank, discussed various topics related to AML and CFT.

This training plays a vital role in ensuring financial security and transparency within the country's financial sector by making officials aware of the existing laws and regulations to combat illegal activities such as money laundering and terrorism financing.
