MetLife Bangladesh settled 2,895 crore taka in 2024

MetLife Bangladesh settled 2,895 crore taka claims in 2024. This includes the money customers receive as insurance benefits and claims for loss of life and medical needs.

Of the total claims settled, 237 crores of Taka was claimed for health and medical expenses, 140 crores of Taka was claimed for death, and 2,518 crores of Taka was claimed for maturity, partial maturity, and others.
MetLife Bangladesh has settled over 11,400 crore Taka in insurance claims over the last five years (2020 – 2024).
