Former Chattogram-15 MP Dr Abu Reza Nezamuddin Muhammad Nadvi, who was reportedly in hiding, has been detained. 

The Detective Branch of police nabbed him from Uttara in the capital on Sunday (15 December) night, DMP Deputy Commissioner (Media and Public Relations) Muhammad Talebur Rahman confirmed. 

A case had been filed against Nadvi, alongside 50 other leaders and activists of the Awami League and its affiliated organisations in Chattogram.

On 9 October, a local BNP leader Mostafizur Rahman filed the case with the Satkania Police Station.
