Announcing the inauguration of Hisense in Bangladesh in the presence of more than three hundred partners across the country, corporate guests, and bank finance partners, Mr Sk Bashir Uddin, said, "I am great privileged to be here and to witness this launch of partnership and also witness the wonderful factory that Fair Group has built to enable this partnership. I am assuring Ms. Fang that this is a country to invest. We would enable this country to be a global hub in every way possible. We invite Hisense to take the demographic dividend of this country."

Ms. Catherine Fang highlighted Hisense's global vision and its commitment to bringing world-class innovation and value to the Bangladeshi market. She said, "We want to focus on local market adaptation. As we go global, we want to stick to our globalisation strategy. At the same time, we make sure we operate locally to meet consumer needs. Considering its population, Bangladesh is a big potential market and significant for Hisense overseas business. This year, in partnership with Fair Electronics, Hisense has started local manufacturing and sales of a full range of consumer electronics & home appliances. We promise a long-term partnership to reach a bright future."

Prominent dignitaries and special guests attending the event included Mr. Chowdhury Ashik Mahmud Bin Harun, Executive Chairman (Senior Secretary), Bangladesh Investment Development Authority (BIDA); Mr. Shish Haider Chowdhury, ndc, Secretary, Information and Communication Division, Ministry of Posts, Telecommunication, and Information Technology; Mr. S M Ferdous Alam, Director General (Grade-1), Bangladesh Standards and Testing Institution (BSTI).

Fair Group chairman Mr Ruhul Alam Al Mahbub said, "Bangladesh is a potential export hub. Hisense has considered this and came forward for the partnership with Fair Electronics. We are pushing ourselves to make things happen. Bangladesh is a very high-potential market where the average age is below 27, and the consumer electronics penetration is very low. We strongly believe that Hisense will support us in making this partnership successful. We believe that this partnership will open up new opportunities to export Hisense products made in Bangladesh to the global market."

The launch unveiled an innovative lineup of Hisense products, including Smart TVs, refrigerators, washing machines, and air conditioners, designed to meet the dynamic needs of modern households. Hisense's entry into the Bangladeshi market aims to set new quality, design, and technology benchmarks. Fir Electronics promises seamless after-sales service across Bangladesh.

Fair Group Director, Mr Mutassim Daiaan, CMO Mohammed Mesbah Uddin, CFO Mr Kazi Nasir Uddin, FCA and Head of Marketing J M Taslim Kabir were present at the press conference. Mr. Jason Wang, GM of the Hisense South Asia Office and Mr. Terry Liang, Sales Director of the Hisense South Asia Office, were also present, among others from Hisense International.

For more than five decades, Hisense has earned its reputation as a leader in innovation and technology. The company has established 64 overseas offices for localised operations. As one of the largest television manufacturers globally, Hisense operates in over 160 countries and regions and continues to shape the future of technology with its cutting-edge products. Additionally, Hisense holds the No. 1 position in China, Japan, Australia, and South Africa in the TV category and No. 1 in the Czech Republic, Hungary, Slovenia, Croatia, Serbia, and South Africa in the refrigerator category.
