The new central committee of Gono Forum has been announced with Dr Kamal Hossain as its emeritus president, while Mostafa Mohsin Montu as president and Dr Mizanur Rahman as general secretary.

The announcement came from the 7th national council of Gono Forum held at the Institution of Engineers in the city. Gono Forum founder Dr Kamal Hossain opened the council this morning (30 November).

Extend full support to interim govt: Dr Kamal 

Advocate Sagir Anwar presided over the election session, while Advocate Subrata Chowdhury announced the names against different posts of the party's new 151-member central committee, keeping some posts vacant.
