Gono Forum President Mostafa Mohsin Montu passed away this afternoon (15 June) at the age of 79.
According to media reports, Montu died at 5:10pm while undergoing treatment at a private hospital in the capital.
BNP acting chairman Tarique Rahman and Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir expressed deep sorrow over the death of the Gono Forum leader and extended condolences to the bereaved family.
