Chinese medical team arrives in Dhaka to treat Milestone crash victims
The delegation includes experienced doctors in burn care, trauma, and intensive care

A team of Chinese medical experts arrived in Dhaka last night (24 July) to assist in the treatment of victims injured in the Bangladesh Air Force plane crash at Milestone School and College in Uttara.
A Cathay Pacific Airlines flight carrying the medical team landed at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport 11:20pm, said a Chinese embassy press release.
The Chinese Ambassador Yao Wen and Sayeda Jasmin Sultana Milky, director general of Global Health Emergence Response Wing of the foreign ministry, received the team in the airport.
According to the Chinese embassy, the team will work alongside specialists at the National Institute of Burn and Plastic Surgery in Dhaka, providing technical and professional support.
The delegation includes experienced doctors in burn care, trauma, and intensive care — Liu Shuhua, Yang Fei, Li Ze, Zhang Jinli, and Liu Huan — who will coordinate closely with Bangladeshi medical teams to deliver specialised treatment.
