The death toll from a huge blast at a fireworks factory in central China this week rose to 37, state media reported today (8 May).
The explosion on Monday (4 May) at the Liuyang Huasheng Fireworks Manufacturing and Display Company in Liuyang, Hunan province, killed 37 people, state broadcaster CCTV said.
One person remains missing and dozens are receiving medical treatment, it added.
