Michael Bloomberg drops out of US presidential election
Michael Bloomberg has spent more than half a billion dollars in the race to become the Democratic Party's nominee

Democratic Party nomination hopeful and former mayor of New York City Michael Bloomberg has dropped out of the US election.
"Three months ago, I entered the race for president to defeat Donald Trump. Today, I am leaving the race for the same reason," he said, reports the BBC.
Michael Bloomberg has spent more than half a billion dollars in the race to become the Democratic Party's nominee.
He said he would now support former Vice-President Joe Biden.
