Bangladesh might not import Rolexes yet, but when it comes to high-end watches, brands like Rado, Longines, Seiko, Meido, Tissot, etc are available in the country. After researching the market for watches, The Business Standard  has come up with a list of the top five luxury time-tellers. We tried to cover different brands to wide your choices, but of course, opinions vary from person to person.

So if you are looking for some luxury time-tellers, you can have a look at the watches below. The prices range from Tk160,000-Tk766,400, and the watches can be found at different showrooms of Time Zone.

This Tissot watch features Chronograph Automatic Movement. Made of stainless steel, the watch has powerful Swiss watchmaking skills plus a sporty look to back it up.

The watch has also used sapphire crystal to provide scratch resistance, and the stainless steel bracelet is adjustable. In terms of price, look and build, we rate it an 8.

The Mido, Multifort series features a stainless steel 44mm case, with a fixed bezel, a silvered dial and a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal.

The watch has a beautiful rose gold colour, and MIDO used leather as a strap for the watch.

This beautiful wristwatch is powered by an ETA-Valjoux Caliber 7750, Swiss automatic movement and supports chronograph, tachymeter, date, day, hour, minute, second functions.

This watch has a water resistance of up to 330 feet/100 meters, so you do not have to worry about a drenched watch.

We rate it at 8.

The unique thing about Seiko Astron is, it has a solar timepiece. Apart from that, the clock face is blue and covered with sapphire glass.

The sapphire crystals are tough and scratch-resistant. You cannot even scratch it if you try to scratch the glass with a razor-sharp knife. The strap is made of titanium.

The new Astron with a touch of a button adjusts to your time zone by connecting to the GPS satellite network and, as it takes all the energy, it needs from light alone.

The watch also does not need any battery change. Still, it can provide astonishing precision of an atomic clock, one second every 100,000 years.

We rate the watch an 8.5.

Longines Symphonette is a luxury made especially for the women. You will find three costliest components of the world in the watch –Diamond, Gold and Pearl.

The watch is covered with a total number of sixty-nine diamonds. The diamonds are placed on the bezel and index hour markers.

The Symphonette has stainless steel and 18Kt Rose Gold bracelet, and white Mother of Pearl Dial.

This luxury item gets an 8.5.

At the top of the list, we have the Rado HyperChrome Skeleton Automatic Chronograph. When you look at the watch, you will be able to see all the mechanical components through the top glass.

The watch is crafted from matt black super hard high-tech ceramic, through a process which starts by firing ceramic components with black pigment at 1450°C in a high-tech oven.

Push buttons and crown are made in stainless steel.

It terms of design and builds quality; the watch gets a solid 9.

It is priced at Tk766,400.
