Entrepreneurs' Org Bangladesh hosts 10th GSEA Bangladesh semi-finals
Fifty-eight applications were received by 20 December 2025, and after rigorous screening, 15 semi-finalists presented their ventures at Bongo BD Studio on 17 January 2026.
Entrepreneurs' Organisation (EO) Bangladesh, in strategic partnership with iDEA, is hosting the 10th Global Student Entrepreneur Awards (GSEA) Bangladesh for 2025-26, celebrating student entrepreneurs and providing a platform for global recognition.
The information was disclosed in a press release by EOB.
According to the press release, fifty-eight applications were received by 20 December 2025, and after rigorous screening, 15 semi-finalists presented their ventures at Bongo BD Studio on 17 January 2026. These presentations will be aired in three episodes on Ekushe Television (ETV) on 22, 24, and 26 January at 10pm.
The national champion will represent Bangladesh at the Global Finals, competing for a total prize pool of $100,000, while the Bangladesh winner receives Tk10 lakh. The Grand Finale will take place on 31 January 2026 at Pan Pacific Sonargaon, Dhaka.
GSEA, established in 1998 at the John Cook School of Business, has been under EO's leadership since 2006. The 2025-26 edition marks the 20th global GSEA and the 10th in Bangladesh. The South Asia Regional / Global Quarter Finals, featuring participants from Bangladesh, India, Sri Lanka, and Nepal, are scheduled for March 2026 ahead of the Global Finals in July 2026 in Cape Town, South Africa.
EO Bangladesh officially launched GSEA 2025-26 on 24 August 2025 at Pan Pacific Sonargaon, Dhaka, and conducted six awareness seminars at leading institutions, including BRAC University, Northern University of Bangladesh, United International University, IBA Dhaka, University of Dhaka, and BUET, inspiring the next generation of student entrepreneurs.
The Grand Finale will bring together distinguished business leaders, expert judges, university representatives, and national media to celebrate and recognise student entrepreneurship in Bangladesh.
