Oil prices top $90 after US-Iran tensions disrupt Strait of Hormuz shipping

Brent crude has surged above $90 per barrel as military tensions between the United States and Iran escalate. Shipping through the Strait of Hormuz, which carries around one-fifth of global oil trade, has slowed sharply, raising concerns over energy supplies and pushing oil markets higher.
