To create an online marketing platform, the Bangladesh Small and Cottage Industries Corporation (BSCIC), has signed a contract with software development company Dream71 Bangladesh Ltd.

BSCIC secretary, Md Mofidul Islam, and Dream71 Bangladesh Ltd Managing Director, Rashad Kabir, signed an agreement on behalf of their respective organisations on Friday, said a media statement.

BSCIC Chairman Mostaque Hassan attended the event as chief guest.

Mostaque Hassan said, "Once the online platform is created, it will be used for marketing products developed by entrepreneurs across the country. To this end, we will also set up display centers and sales centers in all our district offices and 76 industrial estates."

"Small and cottage entrepreneurs were hit hard by the Covid-19 pandemic. I hope this online platform will benefit them," he said.

Other high officials from both organisations were present on the occasion.
