BSCIC launches Autumn Fair 2025 to promote local crafts

The inauguration ceremony of the BSCIC Autumn Fair 2025 was held today (12 October) at the Bangladesh Small and Cottage Industries Corporation (BSCIC) office in Tejgaon, celebrating the serene beauty of autumn and the creativity of local entrepreneurs.
The event began at 10 am with BSCIC Chairman Md Saiful Islam cutting the ribbon to officially open the fair.
Organised by BSCIC, the fair has transformed the premises into a vibrant exhibition of products made by small and cottage industry entrepreneurs from across the country. A total of 43 stalls has been set up, displaying a variety of handicrafts and traditional items including textiles, pottery, jute goods, dolls, block and batik prints, leather items, jewellery, embroidery, and bamboo and cane crafts. Among these, 40 stalls have been allocated for entrepreneurs, two for the BSCIC Design Centre, and one for entrepreneurs trained by the centre.
The five-day fair will remain open daily from 10 am to 8 pm with free entry and will continue until 16 October 2025.
BSCIC organises such fairs every year to promote, market, and expand the reach of products made by entrepreneurs trained through its Design Centre and various training institutes.
