Wega Group chairman appointed to lead BUFT trustee board
Wega Group Chairman Md Mesba Uddin Ali has been appointed chairman of the newly constituted board of trustees of BGMEA University of Fashion and Technology (BUFT).
The board made the appointment at its inaugural meeting today (28 September, 2026), where members discussed key matters concerning the university's governance, administration, and future development, according to the press release.
The newly constituted board reaffirmed its commitment to strengthening BUFT's academic and institutional capabilities and supporting its continued growth and development.
