The Feni region was severely impacted by floods this year, making it a priority area for this community outreach program. In the coming days, United Aygaz LPG Ltd plans to extend this initiative to other regions of Bangladesh to support students in need.

United Aygaz LPG Ltd. is a joint venture between Aygaz, the first energy company of Koç Holding—Turkey's most significant industrial conglomerate—and United Group, one of Bangladesh's leading socio-economic infrastructure-based business conglomerates. The company specialises in importing, storage, bottling, marketing, and distributing LPG under the United Aygaz brand. Leveraging Aygaz's six decades of technical expertise in the LPG sector and United Group's four decades of business excellence, the joint venture is committed to driving sustainable development in Bangladesh.

The company's mother terminal, located in Anwara, Chattogram, features over 16,000 metric tons of storage capacity, enabling efficient coverage across the Chattogram, Dhaka, Mymensingh, Sylhet, Barishal, and Khulna divisions. Plans are underway to expand operations into the northern regions of Rajshahi, Bogura, and Rangpur.

The school bag distribution event was attended by distinguished guests, including the Head Teacher of Ataturk Government Model High School, Mr Muhammad Enayet Ullah; Mr Showkat Osman Jamil, GM and Head of Sales, United Aygaz LPG Ltd.; and Mr Sadman Shariar Biswas, DGM-Marketing, United Aygaz LPG Ltd.

Speaking at the event, Mr Showkat Osman Jamil remarked, "At United Aygaz LPG Ltd., we believe in giving back to the communities where we operate. Education is a cornerstone of sustainable development, and through this initiative, we hope to provide children with the tools they need to continue their education despite the challenges posed by the recent floods.

This initiative reflects United Aygaz LPG Ltd.'s commitment to fostering education, health, and environmental sustainability while maintaining a solid connection with its stakeholders and the communities it serves.
